Every August, Pack 890 hosts our annual Cub Scout Roundup. This is a fun, welcoming event for families who want to learn what Cub Scouts is all about and see what makes Pack 890 such a great place to belong. Pack 890 serves the Lake Highlands area of Dallas and is open to boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
At the Cub Scout Roundup, families can meet our leaders, learn how Cub Scouts helps build character, leadership, and citizenship, and get a feel for the adventures that make scouting so memorable. Pack 890 highlights activities such as campouts, pinewood derby events, field trips, and other hands-on experiences that help kids grow while having fun.
Cub Scout Roundup is also a chance to jump right in and enjoy some of the fun with us. It’s the perfect time for exciting activities like bottle rockets, meeting other families, and seeing how Cub Scouts combines learning, friendship, and adventure in one program.
