Pack 890 hosts at least two campouts each year, typically scheduling one weekend in the fall and another in the spring at well-loved regional locations. These events offer Scouts and their families the opportunity to experience the outdoors, engage in team activities, and foster camaraderie throughout the pack. The planning for each campout emphasizes safety, accessibility, and fun, ensuring a positive experience for all participants.
Popular Campout Locations
Some of our preferred campout destinations include Camp Wisdom, Camp James Ray, and several nearby ranches and council-approved campsites around the Dallas area. Each site is selected for its ability to support Scouting activities, provide safe accommodations, and immerse families in nature.
